DESCRIPTION: These hand held laminated maps were sold in the visitor centers of their respective wineries and given out to VIP guests touring the grounds. I illustrated the vineyards to perfect scale going off of technical block maps provided by the client. Then I designed a series of icons and developed a color system so that a visitor standing in the middle of a field of grape vines can, at a glance, easily orient themselves and attain insightful information about the appellation.
